I opened an account on activobank 1 month ago and i,m starting to regret it...
I have received a prepaid credit card and a visa credit card.
Basically they don,t work, even if they have been activated.
I went to your brunch in Porto- Boavista and they don,t help me at all.
They say there is nothing they can do, they asked me to call one of the phone numbers on the back of my card.

I am half deaf and i need help from my flatmates to make phone calls.
However they called and no answer.

What,s wrong??I need to buy stuff and i can not waist my time anymore with these non sense of credit cards.
i can not keep going to Boavista ( i live far away and also i don,t get any info or help at all there)

there is someone who can help me online??

We are trying to solve your problem and since you haven’t explained what sort of purchase you are trying to do (online or in a physical store) and what sort of transaction error you are receiving, we can only guess as to what the source of the problem is.

As a matter fo fact i did especificate this when i contactet you via email, as i did when i went for the 1st and 2nd time toyour brunch in Boavista. I was clear enough to indicate that i was trying to buy online and i also mentiones Asos, Amazon, Skyscanner and Ryanair. Meaning?: websites.

And i think i can not be more clear: you don,t understand which kind of transaction error i receive? no worries!! i will repeat this for this 7th or 10th time: GUYS!!! WHEN I TRIED TO USE THIS CREIDT CARD IT SAYS I CAN NOT PAID WIT IT . THAT THE PAYMENT DIDN,T GO TROUGH!!!

is this clear enough?

Last, but MORE IMPORTANT: yesterday i received an email syaing that 1st of all i have to make a physical purchase in order to activate my credit card.

BRILLIANT!! why nobody told me this before? why it took over 1 week to find out the problem? i complained at the bank, i opened a claim online, i phoned several times and after all these days, out of the blue, someone is suggesting me to use my credit card ina shop... sorry guys but this is just not normal, nor professional!

WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME THIS BEFORE???


Oh, and by the way... today i did as sugeested, i entered the pin the bank gave me on an envelope and guess what!!!... the pin is not even correct..


i,m speechless.
this issue is getting on my nerves and activobank is showing a total lack of interest.


pd. regarding your last email: yes, thanks for your phone call... however as i pointed out before i,m hearing impaired so needless to say i can not answer your call.

SOMEONE WHO CAN GIVE A SOLUTION BEFORE ANOTHER WEEK??
