I bought a Deeply wetsuit last Autumn, and now I have surfed with it for about 4 months. Even though I always gave it the care it required (I washed it in fresh water after every surf session and let it dry in the shade), the wetsuit started to completely fall apart after a few months. The tape on the seams all came loose and the shoulder and neck area are showing signs of heavy wear. I have had many wetsuits in the past and this never happened.
I made a warranty claim as this obviously shouldn't happen. I attached pictures clearly showing the problem, but Deeply still wanted to see the wetsuit for further 'analysis'. The analysis concluded that I mistreated the wetsuit and that it can not be fixed, without shame. How I mistreated the wetsuit, or what I did wrong, however, they are not able to tell me!
Instead they offered me a 20% discount on a new wetsuit. The last thing I am thinking about at the moment is buying a new suit from them. For me (and hopefully for you) it will not be a Deeply Wetsuit EVER again!
This wetsuit SHOULD be fixed under warranty, free of charge.
