Peço desculpa, mas não falo português muito bem.
On 22-02-2022 I signed a new electricity+gas contract with EDP. I specifically mentioned I wanted a simple contract.
To my surprise, my contract has EDP Pack Living FULL service included without my consent. The EDP employee at the Aveiro City hall just told me that I would have to pay the gas inspection in parts each month, around €80 in total, and that I would also benefit from an 8% discount on the energy bill. No time did she mention that I will have to pay extra €14.90 every month with 1 year loyalty.
I live alone and I do not need any of those benefits. I feel completely cheated when I was really happy to move to Aveiro.
In addition, I did not receive my contract till today. nothing within the 1st 14 days.
The employee in the EDP also said I will get my contract by email, but it has been 1 month, and I still do not have my contract. I went to EDP Aveiro today (31/3/2022) and they said my email address was wrong.
This is unacceptable, because I gave my correct email, phone number, and even the gas inspection certificate came to my correct email.
The EDP employee gave printout of contract with few pages only today and I specifically requested for "Fatura em email". But in the printout it still says "Fatura em papel" which is also wrong.
I feel completely cheated and I request to withdraw the EDP Pack immediately.
