I purchased a BMW Premium Selection vehicle from Caetano Baviera Cascais 4 months ago. I was assured the car was serviced regularly and inspected completely prior to delivery. The car began leaking oil one month after delivery. It was inspected at a local BMW authorized service center and determined to have a leak and needed 2 small parts for repair. After waiting one month for the diagnosis and parts to arrive it went into the local shop. It now appears the leak is much worse and the engine had to be completely removed for repair. I've asked Caetano Baviera several times to show me the service records of this vehicle and the pre-delivery inspection report. Andre has refused each time, saying that he cannot access the records or provide them to me. It appears Caetano Baviera Cascais is hiding something from me. The repair is major and covered by warranty, but it appears the selling dealer knew the vehicle had problems and did not disclose them.
