Hello, I have a Sym Cruisym 125 scooter for rent in Lisbon from May 20, 2021, renewed until September 20, 2021.
I am writing to you because I feel strongly made fun of by you, and in particular by the staff of the Lisbon office, regarding the damages that I had to pay out of my own pocket this morning: in practice this morning I found the scooter on the ground, a car while maneuvering, she bumped into it and ran away and unfortunately I was unable to get the license plate number, the left passenger pedal broke and due to two scratches I was forced to pay € 377 for damage to change all the plastic. mirror and pedal. Well, I don't want to go into it, I don't write to complain about the fact that the damages are paid, but I write first of all to report the prices that I don't find honest (just to say, 177 € excluding VAT for a mirror does not seem low to me), and having to pay almost 400 €, such an exorbitant amount for minimal damage, made me feel mocked. But not so much for this, but more than anything else for the null regard towards a paying customer, since in recent months I have always paid for the rental with regularity and punctuality.
The manager Sofia said that I could pay or I had to leave the scooter and, of course, they kept the deposit, but I just paid for next month's rental too and she told me that in that case they would not even give me back the money of the rental from August 20 to September 20, effectively forcing me to keep the scooter for another month.
I keep the scooter, but know that these procedures are unprofessional, far from a good customer service.

As a customer, I felt that I should behave honestly and in order not to have any problems I immediately reported the accident, with the result that with the treatment received this morning I felt teased and treated like a stupid chicken to be plucked.
I could very well have gone to have it repaired by a general mechanic, or postponed the damage to the end of September, since they are not damage that compromise the driving of the scooter, as as you can see from the photos nothing hangs, nothing hangs, the mirror is in working order. and it didn't break, or as I had proposed, to cancel the August / September rental and give me my money back, since I made the transfer yesterday.

Sofia could also come in against me and postpone the repairs at the end of the rental, but she immediately made me hunt € 377, she could also come up against me and eventually make me pay on the return in September, instead the situation was: pay 400€ at the moment, or if i would had pay with the deposit it would mean left the scooter loosing the rental mont of september, of course!

Unfortunately it went like this, which is worth a lesson, certainly on 20 September I will return the scooter to you because now I do not feel safe and protected because even the slightest scratch, perhaps due to a pebble on the asphalt, you can ask me exorbitant figures.and, after this, certainly I will never contact Cooltra again.
