I ordered a drone from Banggood for almost 300€.
Turns out that the drone was faulty and didn’t even takeoff.
I asked customer service to refund me and they took so long to finalise where could I send the drone. First they said the seller in China but I couldn’t ship the drone with batteries so, then they said that I could send it to Germany. However, they changed their mind again. Then they asked me to send it to Italy to get it repaired on my own cost which was absurd.
Anyways, after weeks of argument they finally told me to ship it to China, I somehow found a way to ship it with batteries and sent it.
I gave the shipment number to the customer service guy and he said okay we will track the order and refund when they get my parcel.
However, it took the parcel almost two weeks to reach China, when it did. I got an email from customs that the receiver must acknowledge the delivery, I told customer service and they straight out refused to contact the customs.
After a very long argument the customer service guy still didn’t respond well, then they closed my ticket with a preposterous response that I didn’t ship the package with in 15 days.
Then I opened another ticket and sent them all the screenshots of the previous conversation and showed them that after they told me finally where to send it, I did send within 15 days.
Then began the worst customer service experience again. This guy also couldn’t refund my money or contact the customs.
The fault in the drone was not my fault as proven in the videos I sent them. I sent the drone in time, as it can be proven through the ticket chats. Now the second ticket also went on for days and the guy kept sending me robotic answers and responses that didn’t make sense. Every time I asked him to tell the seller to contact customs, he would just send me a robotic reply. He would always tell me that they will track the parcel and let me know.
I believed them, because the least they can do is track the parcel and refund me in a few more days. Then I got busy with my new business. When I remembered and checked again, they closed my ticket with another absurd reason, not responded to ticket in seven days. Which is totally preposterous because their last response was that they will keep an eye on my parcel and update me so, what would I tell them?
I’d like my money back from the order, my shipment expenses and a compensation for this delay and ridiculous customer service.
