Surprice Car Rentals - Charged for damage that was done prior to my rental time

Surprice car rental-Faro does not have the optimum customer service, and pretends to have the lowest price while the agent is prepared to inflict hidden fees upon return of the car including false claims of damage , taking advantage that the customer has to go to airport and has no time to argue.
The websites that advertise them should be aware of the deceptive policy of this agency.
Did not get a positive reply from them for more than three months.
We do not recommend and warn of this agency, beware of this company branch/Faro, especially if you are a female customer.

Dear Casey, thank you very much for your comment and we had all attention on it.

Terms and conditions from rental are set between client and online Broker booking was made and locally we proceed in accordance.

If not presenting conditions in accordance with what agreed with Broker locally we only give solutions to go further with booking.

Regarding damages, it will never be in case if you are a female or a male. We understand that on the moment each part can be very nervous and the politeness can not be the best each part and we also understand the insatisfaction on extra charges but if not made an insurance at car pick up, damages detected at car drop off have to be charged in accordance with Damage Matrix set on agreement and sign by client.

As per record information all answer was given to client and if client having any sort of proof damage being there before (contesting the check out made and sign at car pick up) please send it to customercareportugal@surpricecars.com to re-open appreciation on charge. If not we have to proceed in accordance with agreement.

We appreciate all opinions and we do everything we can to improve our service.

You can review the agency report which shows clearly that the damage (labelled as serious > 5cm #12 on the car map) was present on the record that was given to me upon receiving the car Dec.18 2023 , that is prior to driving it.
Besides that I'm absolutely confident there was no any damage that resulted during the rental period.
The agent took advantage I'm a female with my kids and had to be in airport , so no chance to argue .
And for your information, even if I was going to submit for coverage, the bank wouldn't cover it.
