I had an appointment at ipo coimbra for september 17 for an mri scan, 2 days before i received a telephone call while I was not in the house. I called back the number and was transferred to atendimento in consultar externa, I asked them why they called and they said , laughing with each other that I should not come for my scan. I asked them why but they just laughed again and did not give me a reason for cancellation. I had a consultation arranged with the doctor in orl for October 1st at 11.00am, 2 days before I received a text message saying that my consultation would now be at 09.30. I arrived at ipo at 08.55 took ticket 44 and was registered at 09.05 I had to wait 4 hours to see the doctor at 12.00 I asked why I was still waiting after a 9.30 time. No response given there was a list of orl patients on the desk, my name was quite high up and people before and after me had their names crossed off but i was kept waiting Finally i saw the doctor at 13.00, she said she could not find my scan results on her computer, I told her that it was cancelled 2 days before it was due. She said that it should not have been cancelled and also that nobody told her about it and I did not need to come that day so it was a wasted journey and a 4 hour wait for no reason. The doctor said to notify her after I had a new scan but so far nothing. Why was the scan on september 17 cancelled, why was the doctor not informed, why did I have to wait 4 hours and why have I not had a new date for the mri scan
